What about the results from the WOC relay?
The WOC realay was exactly hold one month ago, the 21th of August. If you read from the official result list you can see that the podium places are taken bye Suiss, Russia and Finland.
I have a question to IOF, is it a fair result and what signals does it give us for the future?
According to our rules you are forced to stop and help a contender who is injured. That’s what Michal, Thierry and Anders did. They gave up their chances (I would say their medals) for the Czech, French and Norweigian team.
26.13 The organiser must void a competition if at any point it becomes clear that
circumstances have arisen which make the competition unfair or dangerous for the
competitors.

What does this rule mean? Was it a fair result? IOF is always preaching for fair play, time to act in that way to show what it means.
I disqualified them from their chances needing their help. If they would just continued they would have been disqualified according to the rules. Ok , they could maybe have slipped away saying they didn’t see or hear anything. What signals will this send for the next time something bad happens in a race? Must 10, 20 or maybe even more stop for ”make the competition unfair”?
I must say once more that I’m deeply thankful for their actions in the forest. But I’m also deeply sad for the weak action from the responsible in IOF who didn’t have the guts to cancel the results in the race. I think that it would have been a necesarily action and a strong statement. The only fair thing to do in my eyes after the according circumstances.
I guess nobody could say the results are fair they way they are, whay hold on to them? Honour the actions and fair play shown by these guys by cancell the results. That’s my thoughts about this.
