No Trondheim
Today it was ment that we should have travelled to Trondheim with the national team for WOC preparations. But due to the reports we got about the snow conditions we canceled and I’m home training instead. I prefer skiing on snow and when I run orienteering I prefer it’s gone…
10mila was quite disappointing for the team with a 20th place. We had a harch start and I think I can say that the selfconfidence disapeared a bit in the team after that. The happy surprice was that the second team did good and finished 78th and some of the youngsters did really good races!
I run the last leg and was quite motivated to run and pick some places. Had quite many smal misstakes but felt quite ok physically. The map was huge and I had some problems to fold the map and stay in touch with my orienteering. Still an ok race, surprisingly just 40 sek after Daniel Hubmann who was fastest.
On the Friday before 10mila was the first Elitserie competition for me this season, a sprint i Norrköping. Made a big misstake in the begining and never got into the race, stressed and made small misstakes. Havn’t run any sprints this season and need some more high speed orienteering untill I can start making results on that distance. Got an 11th place, 1.07 after Daniel Hubmann who outclassed the opponents.

Grattis till ett kanonlopp på tiomila. Följde det från Peking, lika bra som från Mora. Synd annars att det var stolpe ut men på jukola då jävlar!

Tackar! Grattis själv och hoppas all gått bra.
Känns som vi har en revansch att utkräva på Jukola… -
