3000 m with punching

This Monday I tried to do some running intervals but uphill on a running belt. Though it worked out well I tried 3000 m yesterday to figure out where I’m standing after more than 2 months break from fast running.

I did a test with Dala Sport Academy who our trainer (Kalle Dahlin) had put together with a punch every 200m, totaly 14 punches for making it more similar to sprint orientering. From the start I was passive staying in the back of Erik Rost and Jerker Lysell but after approximatly 1000 m I got upp in front and I was able to run away from them and finishing on 9.21=) I was really surprised about my ability to run since I’ve only done skitraining last one and a half month and only been able to run the last two weeks and doing so only 4 times. The heart must have had som good training lately because my legs are not so fit for running yet.

Untill the real winther comes I have some time to trie to get some god training with running and orienteering. Feeling better and better…
